Rabbi Hertzberg has now issued the following denial of the false claim by LaRouche:-
Subj: Re:
Justice for Jeremiah I am, however, outraged for both of

Dear Mrs. Duggan,
I have your email of today, 28 February 2005, and I am upset for you and
outraged for both of us.
I cannot, of course, deal with the substance of

in insisting
that they must accept responsibility.
and especially on the matter of the possibility that he has not abandoned the
anti-Semitism of 25 years ago.
but I had no idea at the time that he had any of the history which
you have, and now others, have described.
You will not find anywhere in anything I have said the slightest endorsement of
him. Do not believe anybody who equates the
printing of an interview with
an endorsement of the medium in which the interview appeared and especially not
in this case where
charges of anti-Semitism have been levelled and I am now
investigating them.
With warmest good wishes,
Yours sincerely,
Arthur Hertzberg
