Information to Attorney General
What Information was given to the Attorney General by the Duggans legal team? In the application for a new Inquest new evidence were supplied to the Attorney General by the Duggans legal team. This referred to expert pathology and expert reports that give forensic information to suggest that Jeremiah may not have been hit and run over by any car. These were based on 79 photographs of the crime scene and vital facts taken from a very basic post mortem carried out in the UK. A forensic post mortem would have established whether or not Jeremiah was hit or run over Unfortunately the British post mortem under the direction of Dr Dolman did not set out to determine how the injuries were sustained. This was confirmed in a letter written to Erica Duggan by Dr Dolman when she wrote to him and asked “How did my son die from being hit by cars run over or hit by a weapon?” There was no mention on the post mortem form of death by collision with cars. When Erica Duggan met the pathologist Dr Shove he read the report he had written and stated; “ Your son was severely beaten around the head. There were no tyre marks and no glass and no indication of being run over by a car. No spine or neck injuries and no broken limbs. A person’s legs and spine cannot be run over and still be left in tact.” Certain facts stood out even from the basic post mortem and this led to Dr Shove’s view and this is confirmed by international experts. The crime is that there should be such uncertainty when the British authorities had a duty to carry out a proper post mortem and were asked to do so by the family. |
